Jennifer Perri, born and raised in Honolulu,
has sketched a name for herself as the
“OKC girl” among Hawaii’s community,
young and old.
At the age of 10, Jennifer entered
Oceanic Cable’s “Kiddioke Talent Search
Contest” and won first place.
Ecstatic by her talents, Oceanic
Cable designated Jennifer as the MC and the
co-host of popular caster Tiny Tadani for a
kids program called “OKC TV”.
After charming Hawaii with her cute
smile and singing, the 15-year-old
Mid-Pacific High School student is embarking
on a singing career both in Hawaii and
Japan.
Each track is full of Jennifer’s energy
and youth.
Jennifer has spent a year working on
this debut; she will be spending most of her
summer vacation in Japan working with Victor
Entertainment, a Japanese recording company
on her Japan debut album in October.
“I can’t wait for the U.S.
debut,” said Jennifer, and “It’s going
to be my biggest audience” in a recently
Pacific Business News interview.
A record producer scouting Hawaii for 15 to
21 year olds discovered Jennifer a few years
ago while she was performing at Ala Moana
Center.
In January, Jennifer signed a
recording contract to produce album for
Victor Entertainment, Inc. Japan.
Notable song writers Phil Galdston
(Whitney Houston, Celine Dion & Venessa
Williams) and Guy Roche (Brandy &
Christine Aguilera) have provided their
talented song writing abilities on:
"Just Friends"- Phil Galdston.
& "If You Believe"-Guy Roche.
Jennifer's eloquent rendition of Debbie
Gibson's 1989 hit "Lost In Your
Eyes" reveals the resemblances between
2 teens in separate generations sharing the
same emotional feeling.
