Crazy
Fingers is back!
One of Hawaii'i's hardest working bands,
Crazy Fingers has been a Maui musical
mainstay for 6 years now. With versatility
that knows no bounds, they have opened for
many major artists from Willie Nelson to
Ky-Mani Marley and the Doobie Brothers. On
any given night you can find them packing a
club full of locals in Lahaina, or maybe
entertaining the elite of a Fortune 500
corporation at a luxury resort. They are one
of the very few groups that can do both,
with a powerful array of original tunes plus
a deep bag of cover versions to please any
audience alive.
The rest of the world began to discover
Crazy Fingers with the 2001 release of their
first album, "Legalize Happiness".
"Puff", "Haleakala" and
"Surf's Up" were radio hits around
the state, and landed them on the Billboard
World Music chart via inclusion on several
top-selling compilations. The CD also got
major airplay and requests on college radio
stations in California and Colorado. On
their first trip to the mainland, Crazy
Fingers got a wild reception at Reggae on
the River, one of the world's premier
festivals.
The 21 original tracks on "Island
Girls" can barely contain all the
stylistic territory Crazy Fingers claims for
their own. From sparkling island pop to
conscious reggae, hip-hop and R&B to
rock and folk, there is truly something for
every music lover here. Crazy Fingers will
be touring throughout Hawaii in support of
"Island Girls", as well as
planning a return to the West Coast this
summer.
